As I left the house yesterday morning I found it hard to get a proper 'goodbye' as The Great Dane was glued to the game. Between football and the hockey play-offs I've got a lot of needlework done in the past weeks!
We await the Green Bay Packer season with much anticipation. And, then, the Crimson Tide returns as well as our less successful alumni in our home - Texas A&M, Northern Arizona, Michigan State and Colorado. (One of my boys loves the cowboys. I try not to mention that.)
There was an awful lot of football( soccer) here too. For weeks on end and on many channels. The Dutch team lost every match so it's over now. I don't like this football mania. Some of the houses were even painted orange, the national colour.Orange because our royalty belong to the House of Orange.

ReplyDeleteWatched? Or snoozed over? I am not sure that the glasses don't hide a quick forty winks?
ReplyDeleteIf this photo is any indication, not as much football is being watched as you think.

ReplyDeleteFußball ist bei uns im Moment das große Thema. Na ja, vielleicht wird es sich morgen ändern, wenn Deutschland gegen Griechenland verliert...:-)
ReplyDeleteLieben Gruß
