ReplyDeleteGod's Honest Truth! The closest I ever got, was when I drank a schooner (glass, not ship) of dandelion wine very quickly after a landlord called 'Time, gentleman please!' A friend of my hubby-to-be had bought us 'one for the road'. I thought it would be impolite not to drink it all. Shows how green I was at the time... I hated the way it made me feel, and never, ever drank enough to repeat the feeling again.
Well , as long as you were only "green" and not pea-green and queasy then it was a lesson well learned !

After it's gone and for as long as you're still drunk... oh and if you're pouring dactyls, make mine a double too...
