You'd think..........But then in so much of the world men are against the education of women, women's freedom of movement and expression and for the belief that women must be covered from head to toe before going out in public.
There are more females on this planet than males and if women just realized the power they have they could end this sort of nonsense once and for all. Women shouldn't prevent rape. They shouldn't have to.
I actually saw a Google headline that a lawyer of one of the accused in the Delhi rape and murder had said that the victim had caused the rape herself. It disappeared very quickly.Around here the establishment (male) rarely treats a rape victim as the victim of a crime and very few rapists are convicted. In my secret mind I have wondered what would happen if women got together and punished the rapist themselves.(If this doesn’t get this site shut down I don’t know what will)
Men should be offended. The evil of a few men stains the rest of us. I've seen the fear on a woman's face when she is alone with me in an elevator or on the subway. All I can do is look away in shame.
Oh, we women certainly are all temptresses, aren't we? Look, if we're followers of this or that religion, we have to cover up our hair lest we tempt a man, any man, every man, to lust for us! I'm quite sure my silvery gray hair is nearly knocking them all senseless!
A male friend posted this on his Facebook page. I was impressed.
It's much simpler ... and titillating ... to see all women as Eve-il . And , of course the average man wouldn't go out "on the pull " with five mates and an iron bar . Only the inadequate .
This seems such an obvious assertion. One that my dear spouse mentioned very early on in our acquaintance. It really says nothing good about men.
I know.. recently in India there was this brutal rape case, The girl was assaulted badly.. many politicians and goons blamed the women!megha http://meghafashionista.blogspot.com
Stumbled into this, sorry I'm late to the party. Dressing a little less provocatively whilst walking down an alley in the middle of the night might put off a rapist, if she were unfortunate enough to be near one of the few men that are that way inclined. The problem then is if all women cover up or become utter mingers in a damage limitation exercise would there then become a level of ugly that starts to be the new provocative? It's all quite difficult. Clearly the sensible option is to make all men wear eye masks just in case. I look forward to getting your vote.
