No way! Here on Fridge Soup we only produce the tastiest, most delectable morsels. Burnt offerings are a definite no-no. Left-overs, fair enough, but cock-ups, no ta ever so.
Hehehe! But the actual veg weren't burnt at all! A few ghosts on the bottom of the pan, is all, as the last sizzle of liquid only disappeared as I lifted the lid... 11th hour, see - or even 11 and 3/4. :)
I have a stainless steel pan with the fossil marks of potatoes that I boiled therein. I didn't burn them . . . something happened, though, to make the outlines of the things remain in sort of a multi-color image. It's fading as I use the pan but still visible.
